I first met streetdance in my 14 right after democration has been settled in CZ after the year 1989. At that time it was first possibility to get some dope rap and dance music from West. Right away, the wave of hype dance music videos and it has become obvious that street dance and hip hop will become the love of my life. In 90's i teached at several dance seminars and summer camps. In 1993 we founded in Brno dance crew Beat Up, which is in front of czech dance scene up to now. Together with Radek Zahradník of Přerov (from famous crew CRAZY DANCE) a thought crossed our mind, that dancers don't need to compete against each other all the time and show mutual emulation, but to meet at the event together, where they could get to know each other in a friendly ambience, passed on their knowledge and heartly educate and confrontate in streeet dance. In 2004 the very first STREET DANCE KEMP took place, where were first crew hip hop battles and workshops of czech, slovak and slovenian choreographers. In the course of years event gained great acceptance even among foreign dancers and SDK became a cult and meeting of dancers from all over the world during those 5 years... I'm myself very curious, how long is the future of SDK:). In the end i would like to say, that i don't know better feeling than to be with beautiful people, that express their freedom, emotions and life standings through the dance..I love you all!!!:)))) Thanks to all, who were, are or will be part of SDK Team, and that we can all together take out of people what they like the most and what makes their lifes.
